ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE

FP Solutions has been involved in large-scale energy development for more than eight years, with experience originating and progressing battery storage, solar and associated infrastructure opportunities across Queensland and New South Wales.

Our approach to energy is fundamentally development focused.

We identify locations where electricity network infrastructure, land, planning, community considerations and commercial opportunity align. From there, we work through land and access arrangements, network connection strategy, technical investigations, planning and environmental approvals, stakeholder engagement and project structuring.

We are particularly focused on projects that can improve the flexibility, reliability and utilisation of Australia's electricity infrastructure.

Energy projects are progressed both directly and through associated specialist energy development company Silo Energy, which provides detailed project and community information for our current utility-scale developments.

NEW SOUTH WALES | 1 GW / 4 GWh Gugaa BESS is a proposed utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System located immediately adjacent to the new HumeLink Gugaa Substation in the Wagga Wagga region of New South Wales. The project was originated around a strategic connection location created by one of Australia's largest transmission infrastructure investments. At approximately 1 GW with around four hours of storage, Gugaa has the potential to provide substantial flexible capacity to the electricity network, storing energy when supply exceeds immediate demand and returning it to the grid when it is most valuable. The project is progressing through the New South Wales State Significant Development process. Planning, environmental and technical investigations are underway together with ongoing consultation with landowners, the local community, network stakeholders and government agencies. Gugaa reflects the FP Solutions development approach: identify strategically important infrastructure early, secure an appropriate development site and systematically work through the connection, planning, land, environmental and community issues required to create a viable major infrastructure project. The project is being progressed through Silo Energy.

FROM LANDHOLDING TO MAJOR ENERGY PROJECT The Richmond Valley Solar Farm & Battery Energy Storage project was originated by FP Solutions from land owned by the group's principal in Northern New South Wales. FP Solutions identified the strategic opportunity created by the property's location, available land and proximity to major electricity transmission infrastructure and developed the initial vision for a large-scale solar and energy storage project. Rather than simply offering the property to the market, FP Solutions packaged the development opportunity and approached a number of established energy developers capable of progressing a project of this scale. An important part of the original project structure involved the adjoining property most affected by the proposed development. FP Solutions negotiated directly with that landowner and incorporated their property interests into the broader project structure, ensuring that a neighbouring landowner carrying part of the project's impact could also participate financially in its success. Following a competitive engagement process, FP Solutions reached agreement with Epuron to acquire and progress the development opportunity. Epuron was subsequently acquired by Ark Energy, which continued development of the Richmond Valley project. The project has since secured planning and environmental approvals, grid connection approval and a Long-Term Energy Service Agreement and has reached Financial Investment Decision. Construction is expected to commence in early 2027. Richmond Valley demonstrates the complete FP Solutions origination model: recognise an opportunity early, assemble land and stakeholder interests, create a commercially viable development proposition and place the project with an experienced developer capable of taking it through approvals, financing and ultimately construction.

REGIONAL ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE Egans Hill BESS is a proposed 150 MW / 900 MWh Battery Energy Storage System near Gracemere, approximately seven kilometres south of Rockhampton. The project site was selected following detailed consideration of electricity infrastructure, land characteristics, access, surrounding development and separation from neighbouring residences. Located within an established energy and transport infrastructure corridor, the project is positioned between existing electricity substations and adjacent to major transmission, road and rail infrastructure. FP Solutions and Silo Energy are progressing the project through the Queensland development approval process, supported by detailed technical investigations and community engagement. The development process includes assessment of network connection, noise, visual impact, traffic, stormwater, bushfire and emergency management together with a formal Social Impact Assessment and Community Benefit Agreement process. Our objective is to develop well-located infrastructure while understanding and addressing its potential impacts on neighbouring landowners and the broader community.

BROADER ENERGY DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE

FP Solutions has also originated and assessed large-scale solar and storage opportunities across regional New South Wales and Queensland.

This experience has contributed to our current focus on strategically located battery storage and energy infrastructure projects.

OUR APPROACH

We focus on opportunities where land, electricity infrastructure, planning and commercial fundamentals align.

Our priority is straightforward: identify well-located projects, secure the right land and connection pathway, address planning and stakeholder issues early, and progress developments with strong underlying fundamentals.

SILO ENERGY

Silo Energy is an associated specialist energy development company focused on large-scale battery storage and energy infrastructure in regional Australia.

It provides the project-specific technical information, community engagement material and development updates for FP Solutions' current major energy projects.
